About Us
Our Mission: To teach youth and others about our Creator through the lens of aerospace. To mold the leaders of tomorrow to stand strong in their faith, find and operate in their God-given purpose, and soar on wings like eagles as they fully trust in Him. Equipping them with knowledge and truth, and to model searching for God with all our hearts to find Him and His unique plans and purposes for each one (Jer 29:11-14).
Our Vision: To see all we come in contact with to live lives where they too soar on wings like eagles (Isa 40:31) by freeing those in captivity as in Isaiah 61.
We are combining the adventures of homeschooling with the love of all things aerospace, and doing so through the lens of our Creator, King of the Universe, Jesus Christ. We are taking back the airspace and glorifying God through the study and use of what He has blessed us with.
Our study of aerospace extends beyond a narrow view of the field to not only include what is above ground. All kinds of STEM areas (science, technology, engineering, math) as well as design, art, government, social science, and pretty much any subject matter can be learned through the study of aerospace. So you will find on this site us touching on matters that may not immediately come to mind when considering aerospace, but there is a linkage for sure!
What We Believe In
This is not a lengthy and full statement of our faith, but our overarching beliefs are that Jesus was sinless and sacrificed for our sins, is Lord and that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9,10). The Holy Spirit has been given to us to lead us through what we need to learn (John 14:26). The Bible is inspired by God (2 Timothy 3:16) and is the absolute authority on all matters related to life including the study of science which is a tangible way of proving God’s Word. We believe sin is real, and we need to acknowledge, confess, repent (change direction) (1 John 1:9, Psalm 51) and thank God that as believers in Christ Jesus He has already forgiven us of sins past, present and future. Even so we are under grace and need to walk in that every day – not under condemnation of ourselves or others! We are here to bring the Kingdom of God to Earth as it is in Heaven, and as we go to make disciples along the way. We prefer to use the NKJV translation, and love leveraging the Blue Letter Bible resource to look up the rich translations of words from the Hebrew and Greek languages.
We are strongly against Common Core, and any indoctrination of our youth into worldly values that are threatening the way we are meant to live. We believe that every one of us at all ages are leaders, it is more a question of who are we leading and what are we leading them to. Thus, we believe in training youth to think, behave and act like leaders in all they do, for they have a bigger impact than they know, and are called to do this in 1 Timothy 4:12. We also believe that youth are much more capable than given credit for, and learn better through a variety of learning styles and project driven opportunities.
