]]> 206 Educators – Join the Civil Air Patrol http://learnaero.space/educators-join-the-civil-air-patrol/ Wed, 01 Jun 2016 01:32:06 +0000 http://learnaero.space/?p=203 We are excited to be an Aerospace Education Member (AEM) of the Civil Air Patrol (CAP)!  If you are an educator (in a formal school or homeschool) you too can join and get access to the same education CAP uses with their cadets.  There are great resources for teaching and learning all kinds of exciting areas of aerospace like aerodynamics, building aircraft and rockets, and more!  For a simple membership fee you will receive education materials that far exceed what you pay.

As a member you also receive their great publication that showcases the service the Civil Air Patrol provides.  For example, in a few issues in 2016, the articles included coverage of their search and rescue operations during the SC flood, help in testing the response of airspace breech over the super bowl stadium, etc.

We hold CAP courses local to the Atlanta, GA area through various homeschool programs.  Look for more information on where we are offering classes in our Join Us and Do area!
